How to disconnect trans coolant line?

How do I disconnect the lines that run into and out of the trans cooler? Is there a special tool required to disconnect the fittings?

Yeah, they call it a quick disconnect fitting. should be able to find one at any parts store.

I disconnect mine where the fittings are up at the top of the radiator drivers side. Can't tell you how but it is self explanatory. That is where I do my fluid exchange for the trans.
