how to get gas out of bulk fuel tank?

i am buying a farm and there is a fuel tank in the ground that the guy uses for gas, how can i get all the gas out and make the tank safe to use it for diesel for the tractors?

Probably best to forget using any inground fuel storage tank, if the EPA gets any information that one exists, you could be responsible for any inspections, plus "Clean Up" if any polution exists, and one can be 100% sure, polution does exist, costs may exceed value of property. If you are buying or bought the property, be sure to check with the Real Estate Agent and the owner if it's mentioned in the Deeds. As it's said, "Ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the Law. " I would see to this matter right away, as you well know the EPA is Nation Wide.
