How to get rid of twain-tech and VX2 spyware

Anybody successfully get rid of these two programs. I have tried Spy Sweeper, SpyBot S&D and Spy Killer, they all find the program, but it seems that everytime I reboot, they are found on the system again. Is there a file buried somewhere that "regenerates" itself on the system? Anybody know how to get rid of these *U(^*%(*% programs?!?!?



Virus (haven't had one yet, knock on head) and spyware writers should be strung up by their sacks and suffer death by Little Red Ryder BB guns... ...

Have you tried Ad-aware? I had some files named twaintec. dll found on my CPU at home yesterday after I started getting pop-ups, not sure if it is the same thing you're having problems with. I ran Spybot and Ad-aware a few times mixed in with some rebooting, and now they seem to be gone.

Restart the computer in safe mode, then run your spy ware remover, you will be amoazed at all the extra stuff you can find.

I've tried that one too... . it will find it, it just will not remove it permanently.
