How to install trans temp guage

Is there lit on trans temp , exhaust temp guages for 04 2500 automatic trans? Looking for some install instructions . Having trouble finding 12 volt hot for trans temp, dont want to do a red neck gravel yard job.

I am looking for info on ware I can pick up light power for my acc gauges I want them to dim along with the rest of the gauges. Anyone done this if so ware did you get the light wire from??

I just saw a post (after doing a search) and noticed that people were tapping into the dimming feature on the light switch. Basically access the side panel on the dash (or under - don't know what year truck you have)..... to get to your light switch. One of those wires will go up and down in voltage commensurate with the dimmer on the switch. USe a scotchlock to tap into that wire for your guage and the lights on the guage will dim along with your dash lights.

Someone with a service manual (or who can find theirs!) - can tell you what color wire to look for.....
