Curt,I know you are the man for this one!

I haven't gotten my hands on my MB motors yet. But have a butt load of research. I know there was a Company called East Coast Rovers who did some 3. 0L conversions to their Land Rovers.

I am planning to mate a MB power-stroke to my Trooper transmission. But I had an eye injury and surgery so I'm not able to get into the shop at all. And haven't been able to get up to Pennsylvania to pick up the engines I bought.

Here's a informative MB website

and another

and here's the East Coast Rover site.

I know these aren't specific to your Chevy to MB question but it's most of the research I have on the MB power plants. Have you looked at Advanced Adapters? They have all sorts of adapters. Just not any for my application. You may have more luck.

Curt,if you like I can deliver a "short block" (block with a crank in it with the engine plate and a flywheel) to your door ..... just say the word.

sorry to hear about your injury, I myself need a cornia transplant... so I know what you are going thru.

what M/B motor did you buy?... I didnt recognize the motors on the rover site. I realy dont know what a powerstoke 2. 8 is.

Anyway you can give me a call @ 940 382 4878(eve) I do have a TON of 617 parts,maybe I can help... ..... Joe
