Just use a 1-1/8" socket to remove the fuel filter cap which will have the fuel filter attached to it. Just gently 'unclip' the old filter from the cap, install the new o-ring, snap on the new filter, and re-install the cap / filter assembly. Start threading the cap back on by hand and make the final 'snug-up' with the socket.
Once she's all buttoned up, turn the key on (don't start it) and listen for the lift pump running for a few seconds. Repeat this process about 6 times and then let her rip.
Now have a tall cool one... job well done!
