how to run the nav without radio on

how do you run the nav on 2010 without having the radio on? is there a way to just run the navigation without the radio, ipod, sat radio running. i use the nav a lot and haven't figured out how to do it. you turn the unit on and an audio source starts playing.

On my 2005 with the RB1 Nav (prior generation), the radio was always "ON" and I just put the volume off. So I kept it on a strong FM station with no volume and the NAV always running. If I shut the radio off, then the whole unit was off, nav and all. If the new ones are designed the same way, then there isn't any way to run the NAV with the radio off.

The nav will not run without the radio on. .

Just turn the volume to 0, its what I do. .
