To finish of the last thread linked above, here is a pic of me the day I sold my box. $7000. 00 cash from a local excavating company who lost their mechanic and decided not to hire a new one. they have a guy that is REALLY good he went from driver to wrench. It is technically a shop owned box but he says he will lock it every time he is away from it. Thanks for the the help!!
Dave

check into the link, I have 2 boxes like that one. One at home and one at work, both full of ALL brands. I call Pro tools anything that came of a tool truck. Where I work there are 4 tool men. I think that is TOO many but they are in this order. Mon is Cornwell, Tue is Snap-On, Wed is Matco, and Thur is Mac. I had all brands in that box when I sold it including LOTS of Craftsman stuff which I really like. Their new catalog has tons of stuff as good as the pro named stuff. I will be replacing that box at my home with a 40 inch tall by 26 inch wide craftsman. I realize there was no need for 2 of these tool set ups and kept the old bet up stuff at work and sold this box to start a college fund for the kids.

thats a pretty good idea, i just looked at the link. i am not sure you will get the money you are looking for. my box is ALL Snap-On tools unless its a special tool for something. I have been buying lots of Snap-On on craigs list. example 4 full sets of snap on impact sockets deep shallow metric and standard 1/2 drive $160. thats nuts considering each set is over $300 easy. 3 snap on adjustable wrenches $10 those are over $40 each. lol people are selling cheap. maybe the smart thing to do is hang on to the stuff till this country turns things around a little.....

thats just a few examples. i have spent a few thousand on tools from craigs list and prob have more then triple the value in tools.

i guess its smart shopping.

I would guess when you wrote: I can send photos, I can field PM's. Any help getting rid of this BRAND NEW PRO TOOL set would help it just sounded too much like a classified ad which there is a place for but not here.

I would hate to have to sell tools, a big loss can be expected and I would imagine you would have to break up stuff and list it separately or take even a larger bath. Hope you have good luck with the sale.
