If I remember correctly the vacuum pump is bolted to the timing cover with three bolts or studs which have to be remove and the lower nut between the vacuum pump and PS pump (there's a bracket if I remember). While you have things out change the seal in the back of the vacuum pump.

I just did this servicing so it's fresh in my mind.
Two bolts hold the combination vacuum pump/ps pump to block. Additionally there is a bracket on the side of the block that attaches to one of the bolts that hold the ps pump to the vacuum pump. I found it best to leave the bracket on the block and remove the nut from the stud on the ps pump. Slide the unit back and out. To seperate the two pumps you can use a rubber mallet to tap against the ps pump housing. The vacuum pump is cast metal so I wouldn't be to rough with it. On re-installing the unit the bracket on the engine block can help hold up the rear of the unit while you thread the two bolts into the block. As stated above servicing the vacuum pump seals is pretty easy and there are kits available from www.fixinrams.com
Good luck
Chuck
