my buddies 93 had the fuel pin rotated and the low boost adjustment all the way and idled normal, i gave him 3 rounds on the full power screw and now it idles real high, so i run out the idle adjustment and it didn't idle down and does not sit against the idle stop (screw) so i lengthened the throtle rod to push it further and that helped but still not as low as stock, how can i get it to idle lower and still give him more power?

Well, in a nut shell, looking at the linkages, do whatever you must so that the pumps throotle lever will rotate through it's full range. There must be linkage(s) that are not in proper adjustment. Something is holding it from returning to idle. If the screw stop is not touching the arm, look at the linkage.

The throttle rod (with the two ball joints at each end) will be the start. Adjust further.

Thats the problem with the power srcew, at some point the idle will not come down because of the extra fuel.

If the throttle linkage is backed all the way down the gov spring should be slacked. There is no more down adjustment other than less fuel.

Some pumps will allow bottoming the screw, others won't. The pump could very well be on the verge of runaway so be careful at this point.
