I think i am stacking my boxes wrong. Where do you install an edge ez when you have a TST pmcr??? And what advantage do you have with it stacked over the TST on it's highest setting. Lastly what settings do you run the stacked boxes at, i am sure this is my problem as my truck seems lame with them stacked. My old van aaken was quicker... I am new to this game so thanks for the help.

you need to put the TST map sensor first on the motor then hook the EZ to the TST and the stock sensor then all the rest of the hook ups are the same.

What mattymac said... TST into the block, EZ into the TST, and pigtail into the TST. I run the EZ on level 4 and the TST as high as needed :) The power seems to come on smoother with the stack and you get the same power with less EGT and smoke.

Thats funny that you say this? With my TST/EZ it will really smoke at the same power level than just the TST alone. But the power is really up. Smoothness seems to be about the same even with more power.

Mattymac,

I guess I'm trying to say that 400 hp with the TST only will give more smoke and EGT because you have to set it higher (7-7 for example) than with the EZ added (EZ 4 and TST 4-4 for example). At the same TST. Mine didn't seem as rough edged or have the instant explosion with the EZ added, but it was more driveable... just smoother overall. Just my observations.

is there a significant gain in stacking the two? (how much better than if the tst were ran solely)

i have the edge ez and am not too terribly impressed with it - considering getting the tst and running it at it lower levels

if you add pressure to the TST, you require less duration for the same power at the rear wheels. that results in a net timing advance
