How to switch between stock in-tank lift pump and aftermarket pump

I was browsing and found a post on how someone installed ball valves and a in-cab switch to select which pump is active. I forgot to subscribe and of course now I can't find it anywhere. Tried search and just browsing but no luck. Does anyone know where I might find this? Thanks.

Are talking about a auxiliary tank mounted in the bed?? If so, the pump in the auxiliary tank pumps fuel to the stock tank, not the engine.

It could be done with tank switching valves from a dual tank equipped chevy diesel and an aftermarket draw straw.

No, this was a thread about switching between one of two lift pumps, both drawing from the stock tank and feeding the cp3. He had manual valves back at the pumps and a selector switch in the cab. I'm particularly interested in how he wired it up. Thanks for your replies.
