Dana 70, brake question, socket size?

185s verses 190s or other alternatives?

My father-in-law has a 92 auto - he says he is losing power and has done several things to no avail. I want to hook up a fuel pressure gauge to his truck and see what is happening. Are there any ports to temporarily hook up a gauge.

I've searched and found articles mentioning the tapped banjo ports, but that isn't an option right now - If I have to order one of them... well I guess I will.

His truck is stock, auto, 2wd, 190,000 miles.

Thanks for the help.

On top of the fuel filter there is two banjo bolts, one will have a small bolt screwed in it. If you remove it, you will be able to screw a male pipe thread in it to temporarily check fuel pressure. You can screw a hose with male pipe on the end into the banjo bolt, and then stick the gauge through the door or tape it to the windshield.

Or you can pull the banjo bolt itself that already has the small bolt in it, and tap it for pipe, then when you're done testing, you can screw a pipe plug in it.

Thanks!

Guess I should say... . Duh... sorry - didn't think of using the bleeder screw to tap for pressure..... oh well...

Thanks again!
