Drove around without the steering stabilizer hooked up. Reason I ask is I just replaced some tie rods along with the brakes and damaged the stabilizer in the process. I just took it around the block, without the stabilizer, and it has a very bad shake around 35-40 MPH. Would this cause that to happen. Also I noticed lots of play in the track bar where it attaches to the frame.

Thanks

John

With a worn out track and no stabilizer it's not going to be fun to drive, more than likely if you get up to freeway speeds and hit a bump you will get the death wobble... you need to replace the track bar, if the track bar is tight you might get by without the stabilizer.

the stabilizer is just there to do what the name say's and also hide's worn out parts.

replace your track bar and see what that get's you
