banks six-gun with a vac. 3-2. anyone done it?, seems like the banks timing and pressure would be complemented by the va box with duration only. Im looking for a little more :D

Why not post it for everyone? I thought thats what this website was for.

Yes, It can be done ,Would I recommend it NO,Oil temps and EGT"s Are in the danger zone. also the Six gun will default when the duration steps out of safety spec"s,When you start to do all 3 timing, duration, pressure, Hardware changes are necessary,You can get the same benefit by doing only two of the three much more safely,You can do a little of all three,When you start to do upper levels of all three that"s when things start to rattle apart,Regardless of the programmers you are using. It is Like stacking a building on top of another building without No consideration of the first builder spec"s,So when the Building collapse who do blame ,the First Builder?. Some of the aftermarket Manufacturers are only interested in publishing Numbers on the Dyno. Hell you can show the numbers you want on any given Day. . That not to say the Numbers are NOT important ,it just should not be the only factor.

Performance longevity,Durability have to be factor in,I see it all the time peep hole pistons, window blocks, puking,Trans problems, etc. all related to the disregard of the original builders design,Yes their is room to add Mods Just do not dis-regard the builders first design ,than make improvements.

I agree that stacking boxes and turning them all up to max, with stock hardware will make quick work of any diesel. But how about that stack with a more capable turbo, I've got the transmission covered. And I plan to keep the six-gun on 4 or lower (i. e. mild pressure increases, I'm pretty sure the six-gun doesn't run the speed loader on those settings). I was under the impression that a balanced application of timing, pressure and duration helped egts versus maxing one or two. With all the posts about high pressure related injector problems, I'm afraid to run the banks on 5 or 6 on a consistent basis. Another point is that I don't tow, mostly a daily driver truck that does an occasional 1/8mile run or burnout, just for fun.
