Anybody That's Going To Thunder in Muncie Ride a Unicycle?

1st timer to Muncie...

We had a good time. Some of us were disappointed with our Dyno #'s, others were happy. They are probably still at the Picnic at the state park. I couldn't stay.

Bill,

what did you crank out?

Don~

Well, not bad, not bad. I guess I'm one of the happy ones.

Did 348hp with just 275's and comp. Oo. Oo. Oh... ... ... ... ... ... ..... with the weak lift.

Matt; you really missed out on a good one. Lots of credit to guys that came up from Pennsylvania, Maine etc.

Isn't that a shame that guys that live a lot closer didn't show up? What the heck is the matter with you Matt?

We also had a lot of fun with therabbittree's Rabbit with the stacks, dude that thing is cool;) We also did a couple injector swaps one at the dyno and at the park.

Thanks to all that put this together specially to Batman for taking the time to getting all food, drinks and also cooking. Had a good time, nice to see new faces and looking forward to the next one.

Fred.

WhoooHooo Fred! Alright!!! Way to go!

I knew I was missing out, but my brains were cooked all week, turn up to 103 and slow simmer... . Glad everyone had a great time.

Hey Deo, what were your numbers????

Matt

434 hp@ 965#

I had a MUCH:D better dyno day this time. As you can see by the #'s ol' 01 was gettin it done today. Thanks to Scotty, Fred and XV10 I have a new frame mounted Carter fuel pump PUSHING 6# @ WOT!! The only bad news on this unite is that it SINGS  ! The BD-4s' do seem to smoke just a bit on 5X5 but oh well I'll get used to it.

:--)

Many kado's to all those who put this all together and to Mike Dez racing for letting us smoke up the shop.

PS: Freddy that cop is still lookin fur you Bubba. :-{}

Sounds like a great time... . Sorry I had to work, besides my truck is still not back together. Hope to make it next time though.

Doug

Heyboss, you are too modest. Matt I hope you are sitting down for this ... ... . the second set of injectors went in in record time thanks to Heyboss and Straightsix Jeff... ... . 38 minutes start to finish.

As stated earlier it was a great day.

Thanks to all who helped to put another great event together.

:--)

DAMM! I can see us pulling in on the oval track diesel truck races after the first 500 miles for fuel, tires, and a new set of injectors! Fred... ... ... ... ... ... ... . !!!! Where's Fred!?

JES, Way to go guy!!!

Did anyone get pictures? Smoke monkeys? Chimmny Sweeps? Holeshot up to his hijinks?

Matt

Another great meet!

Matt, it was a great time for all Oo.

Too bad you had to miss Youngin’ Matt’s repartees :-laf Between that, the dropped cheeseburger and the 2-second beers at the Park, he had us in tears from laughing so hard.

Then again, their was the that quarter ($0. 25) Jeff returned to me:eek: Does anybody know who picked up that quarter from the picnic bench

Tim J. (with the highest numbers of the day) shot some video. You have to see Deo’s rabbit. I hope that he will post a link for viewing.

There was plenty of soot to be had. Mike Dez did another superb job. I think it was about 20 trucks in 5 hours. All did at least three runs, maybe more. I know that I did nine runs.

With my setup, 359 HP @ 800 ft. lbs. ;)

Bill, I was next to last and his helper did look like one of the characters from the movie, Mary Poppin’s.

My special thanks to our chef and organizer George and his lovely wife Janet for arranging the location, food, and keeping it served hot of the grill :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks again to George and the rest of the organizers for putting on another great event.

I am looking forward to the next one!Oo.

Just got back! Spent the night on the beach!Oo.

For me it was a good day - bad day. Now I know my Comp is broken... . With the way it was chugging and popping, I thought my lift pump went.

Then we switched Comps (Thanx JES)and pulled 380 rwhp with 805 ft lbs of torque! Oo. My best numbers so far!

I'm going to call edge about my comp box Tuesday. What is up with these things:confused:

Special Thanx to BATMAN for getting it all together!

yup the little vw pulled 80hp... . but im a little frustrted about the lack of torque #'s... oh well i'll have to figure that out. . any one have diesel torque from hp formula (hey tool man??) those rollers were really hard to turn!... i don't know about that. . i've seen vws turn rollers much easier then i did. . oh well could be the setup... i had a great time. . i need to finish my new engine and get to the dyno again . ha

later

Deo

\x/ hillfolk!

ps does any one have some pics or video of my truck on the dyno. . preferably with out it stalled haha

Okay, so it took a little longer than 2 seconds per beer... . but I was mighty full of sand/dirt/insect covered cheeseburgers... . (I think I ate 4 total, and 2 hotdogs..... and about 1/4# of misc. salads... . etc. )

Needless to say... I was the last one to leave the park... . I sat in the cab of my truck for about 30 minutes to let the "intoxicating beverages kick in" so that I didn't have to pee once I hit the entrance of the park..... :-laf

Yeah, I was in rare form... . drinking from a piston out of a Mack E7-427hp engine, enjoying the soot, wanting like heck to toot the ToolManTimTaylor air-horn at the gal outside of the HI-LO food mart , demonstrating the 'bottle rocket', eating a metric tonne of grub, making decent HP #'s, blowing soot at pedestrians, *TRYING* to drive through the haze left by Scott and Tim... holy crap!, watching two injector swaps happen, yelling profanities at the guy who insisted on laying on his horn for about 1/2 hour at Fred :-laf, trying like heck to break up a cherry tree log, burnt fingers, poking fun at George, having fun being poked at me, and other assorted hijinx... .

Yesterday was a HUGE success..... I wanna do this EVERYDAY!!

Way-big thanks go out to George and associates for making this all happen... ... excellent meet!

Matt - a. k. a. "Bam-Bam"

Well .......

Huge Thanks to Batman , Massdiesel , And the crew at Mikes Shop!

What I learned for the day : "It was Jeff" , "I didn't see what?" , "Little engines that Can!" , "This is where we do it from where I come from" , "That is water ... ... . See the white wake!" , "Rabid Bees live here" , "The smallest state and Everyone lives here!!!" .

Another Massive thanks goes to Fred , Jeff , Scott , Nichole , Joe , and the entire surgical team that produced an injector swap in ..... 38 Minutes!!! Key off to key on!!! My gawd hats and shirts off to all who fit in the area of the white Psuedo Sport!!.

Oh yeah ... ... . when you hear WAHOO over the Dyno wheels spinning something good happened! Mack
