Hp and Torque difference between 03 and o5

I have an 03 2500 with a 6 speed and it has 305 hp and 555 torque. What is the difference between the 03 and the 05. Did they use different injectors or a program change or what did they do, with the same motor to get more horse and torque? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

They use different injectors (spray pattern), a different turbo (manual wategate), and a different software program.
