Competition Video- The day before new tires!

Competition Joe Hellmann picks on ricers....

Just a little something to do some bench racing with.

If anyone has the Cd of a Dodge Dakota, I could find the HP of COMP's truck within 10%

Here is the 2nd gen aerodynamicaly corrected HP convertor

Average Horsepower for a 1/4 mile run= (0. 1095 x Vehicle Weight x Trap speed) / ET² + 75236/(ET³)

that 8. 72 was made with out drugs , no nitrous , and windsheild warsher fluid only , remember I have no intercooler , so I concider a intercooler drugs by your contex. the truck ran 8. 51 @ 163. 97 with nitrous , the next day testing

Greg... ... ... . My point is leave it all off, and run on motor only, and what HP do make to the rear wheels? Why no intercooler. Oh, what ever.

intercoolers can add more weight than a nitrous bottle... sometimes

I would have to say it is darn close

Looking at Fletchers truck

Weight 5480

MPH 139

ET 10. 1

comes to a whopping 890 HP. This is an average of applied power to the track to accelerate the weight, and overcome aerodynamic drag force, therefore the engine produced a Peak HP higher than this.

WHY LEAVE IT OFF , THERE IS NOTHING THAT SAYS i HAVE TO RUN THAT WAY ,

with out at least water the motor will not go down the track with out melting

with out at least water the motor will not go down the track

Water and showing up is all it takes.....

If COMP has the time slips to prove what he's done then why hammer on the guy? Believe me im not a Dr. P fan by any means but i have to give COMP the respect he deserves. Maybe he would pick up 2 tenths if he dropped the Dr. P sticker! :-laf Why dont we hammer on EDGE for not showing up to race? Good job Comp! Keep up the good work! :)

i think that not running an intercooler and running NOS instead is the way to go on the track and the inertia dyno. Intercoolers add weight, NOS cools the air and the space (air void) from extra pipes and intercooler really hurts spool up on the dyno. What reaches top psi faster, a 5 gallon air tank or a 100 gallon air tank?

You got it all wrong on my part. I'm not hammering Greg. I'm just looking at the HP numbers. We just have this thing down here as to making the motor get go on diesel. If all your numbers on the dyno are with drugs, how do you know where you are on motor? Turbo configuration and placement. I just see so many folks spraying to get power, and they don't even know where they are on diesel. How do they ever know what to change and if they changed the right things. Just thinking out loud.

And I'm not hammering on Greg. Just wondering what the HP level is without drugs, and then add the 250 HP bottle rocket.

That's all.

. . Preston. .

Preston,
:p What ever happened to- "run what ya brung and hope ya brung enough?"
What difference does it make? That's all man ego testosterone. :-laf How you git r done is how you choose to git r done. Do you think by having these power adders it is easy to tune for great track times? Not trying to upset you but your starting to sound like a baby that wants his own bottle now... . :-laf :-laf Oo.
