how much hp is the stock engine have and how much can it be turned up? o yah how much power can that engine make???

The better question would be how much do you want to spend, and how much do you want to break. These motors can take a lot but you have to remember you have to pay to play. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. :{

ITS 180HP BONE STOCK AUTO 215HP MANUAL I BELIEVE... . RICK

I think that from the factory they were rated at like 210 or 215 engine horsepower. These truck are fun to toy with and turn up. They can be rather easily turned up to about 450 hp at the rear wheels. But be ready you'll break a lot of stuff before that. Input shaft, and you will need a good clutch to keep on going.

well the guy that had it befor me had it turned up ( don't know how much) but my buddy has his ISB has 480 HP and and i keep up pretty damn good,anyway how do you turn them up???

Cam plate,injectors,bigger turbo,better air filter,there is alot of different things you can do... I would try and find out what was done to yours before going any further... ... .

He said the turbo and f/p were turned up and it has a k&n filter charger kit

O Yah he also had a performance clutch put in because it kept smoakin em. my engine also has 149,000 miles is that ok???

Milage is fine however see if you can get specifics on what was done... . HX35 or HX40 turbo..... what size cam plate if thats what he means by turning the fuel pump up... ... . It make a difference because when you start thinking about bombing your engine you buy things that it may already have like the cam plate or governor spring kit etc... ... what rpm does it start defueling?
