Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) hp/trq #'s

I recently had my truck on the dyno, and was told it went for 309hp. and 909ft/lbs. Is it normal to have the hp and trq so far apart.

Somethin's up. With a 309 you should be in the 710 range numericly speaking.

As a Quicky the 2. 3 multiplier is the quick way. The long way is well ... long.



What else mods wise do you have?

Seems a little high on the torque for the horsepower from what I've experianced at dyno days events.

When my truck had an Edge EZ w/RV275's I was dyno'd at 301HP/690HP.

In my current config 402HP/885 range.



What mods do you have? Manual transmission?



What brand Dyno?

Torque sounds high for the HP. See my Dynojet results in my signature.

I did 240HP and 682TQ a few weeks ago too? I thought the #'s were far apart too! All 6 runs were about the same.

I have a 99' 5speep, edge drag comp, 4" exhaust, vp from schied, afe filter, holly blue pusher pump, mitchel dual disk.



Before puting my new vp on I did 379hp,793ft/lbs both were tested from schied.
