Hi, I know lot of you had truck tested on dyno, did somebody know how many RWHP will combination 275 injectors, PE EZ and KN inside the OEM box make ? What gain in HP, if any, will 4" exhaust add to this combinations ? Thanks

M:cool:

Can't comment on the HP with 275's and EZ since I've never run that combo. However, when I had DD1's and an EZ, I made 275 HP in 6th gear or 283 HP in 5th gear.

The real benefit of 4" exhaust will be quicker spool up, a 2 lb PSI increase in the boost, and lower EGT, but no noticible HP benefit.

May Madness this year, courtesy of Diesel Dynamics,my truck

with EZ,275's and the BHAF,everything elses stock,dynoed

296HP.

It is a 2000,3500,4x4,truck weighs 8400#'s(if that matters).

Fuzz, what did your torque numbers look like?

Is your truck an auto or manual?

I'm just trying to get a rough est. of my hp and tq.

Thanks

They weren't getting torque #'s on the read out,at this particular run. I asked and they computed 600ft. lbs.

The truck is a 6speed,3:54 rear end.

The 4" will make it SOUND 30HP better.

Get rid of that stock airbox! $45 will get you the most air/dollar efficient filter around. And just cut the muffler out of the 3" exhaust--until you get closer to 350HP and are having EGT troubles.
