right around the 8-900hp range, mebe more with some major mods. I wouldnt doubt someone has broken 1000hp with a 12v... 3-400 hp is good for a daily driver, any more and you got some mean drivetrain wear. .

would 1500 hp be possible tho i know there would be serious upgrades to hold it and i doubt theres a clucth out there that could but in an extreme case setup would it be possible

I would say its definitely possible. It would take a lot of trial and error.

Go to dieselperformancemotorsports.com and click on "2005 Pictures and Videos"

At the bottom is "Darren's 10. 30 pass at Virginia"

That's some good trial and error right there. He hasn't broken 1000hp yet (I don't think) and that's the fastest 1/4 mile ProStreet run to date as far as I know.

I think keeping it together is the problem when you make that much power. If pistons didn't start melting you could probably get a whole pass in.

What about Fletchers 10. 13@135?

1000 hp on a calculator or engine dyno is a little different than doing it on a RW dyno..... FYI

I stand corrected. I wasn't aware of that one.

And I said he had not broken 1000 hp.

Any numbers they put up come from David Dunbar's dyno. RW.

Any video of this 10. 13??? I'd like to see that.
