This is not your typical 9am to 5pm job. No I do not expect you to "work" the holiday weekend. Although in my line of work a holiday is just another day. Yes we slow the trains down to 50mph but they do not stop running. Only reason I hade Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off were because its on my normal days off Sunday and Monday. If I were the webmaster I would feel obligated to check in at least once per day. But then again maybe I care about the site more then you do?

I made this a seprate post because you made the above post while I was typing my previous reply. I am at work so it took me longer to get it typed then usual.

Also you stated there would be more info on the upcoming changes to the forum software, but no word as of yet? I'll look up the dates this was stated later, you said more info would be available the following week, which has come and gone.

Ken,

I am not trying to get pushy at all, but I do have to agree with something that Kat said.

And I think was he was looking for was just a simple acknowledgment from you, stating you do know about this problem. Nothing more. Maybe I am wrong... but that is the way that I interpreted his message.

Just my $. 02

It is obvious that there is a personality conflict between some of the users of the TDR web site and the webmaster. The lack of professionalism that has been displayed is unfortunate, and I have been asked to act as a middle man between the users and the webmaster. The webmaster will continue to focus on technical issues and site performance.

As to the current HTML problem, the webmaster is aware of it and is working to resolve it. I will let you know when it has been corrected.

Please note that no final decision has been made as to selection of new Discussion Forum software. Effective analysis takes time. We will let you know when, and if, a decision is made to change from the current software.

Thank you for your understanding. As there are updates, I will communicate them to you. I will also make every effort to keep you informed of changes to the forums before they take place. Unfortunately, in isolated cases, that may not be possible due to security issues (or other situations that I cannot currently think of). If that is the case, I will inform you when the change is made as quickly as possisble.

Your support is appreciated.
