Anyone have a ny good pics of a Sledpuller 66 turbo along side the stock charger? I am curious to see the diffrences. Also if you have a picture of the downpipe ccould you throw it in as well? Thanks guys!
Matty, send me your email. I've got pics of my killer B2 along side my stock charger as well as the stock charger downpipe next to the one I made for the new turbo.
That's a tough ball to handle. How much is realtive. If you're familiar with a 35/40 hybrid, more than that. If you're familiar with the TST's old program, 5:5 up hill, 1100° steady. Does that help?
No surging problems whatsoever. I've heard many people say otherwise but I've had no issues. It's been a very towable single for me and has dynoed some impressive numbers.
HTB2 has a 62mm compressor, Killer 64 mm compressor, Sledpuller 66mm compressor. All are available with 12 or 14 cm^2 housings but generally the 12 housing with the 62 compressor and the 14 with the 64 & 66.
I'll tow up to ahum... . cough... 26k gross from time to time. Usually 11-20k.
So with that weight behind you. . you feel that the B2 is spooling up nicely off the line? No problems getting started? Is there anything you would have done different if you could do it over again? Last question... why did you decide to use the Killer B2 over the HTB2 or the Sledpuller?
No problems spooling, course I have a manual transmission. Automatics may be more doggish. If I did it over again... . I wouldn't change much. I intend to use it in a twin setup and will probably switch to a 12 cm housing with extermal wastegate at that time.
I chose this unit over the other two because I wanted max flow and the Sledpuller 66 was not yet available when I bought it abck in Sept. Last week I watched a tweeked sledpuller 66 make 617 hp on #2 on a 12 valve. Impressive to say the least.
