Hub size of rear axle

Looking at a used set of 19.5 wheels and rubber.

Betting someone here knows the size before I can get home and measure.

the wheels (hub center bore) need to be 4.774" to be HUBcentric as the original Dodge wheel. Anything bigger and they will be LUGcentric.

OK. So is it better to be hub centric or lug?

There are a bunch of 19.5 wheels that have a smaller hub opening. Machining it would be easy to hub size.

hub centric would be better (IMO) as the weight of the truck would be carried by the center bore of the wheel rather than by "just" the lug nuts. dodge (and other manufacturers) must have made 'em that way for a reason, eh?
