Hump for PTO

Hi,

Just Received my new 3500 Cab Chassis Dodge with the Aisin transmission ,but seems like we need to cut out the floor to get the PTO to fit on the Aisin transmission#@$%!,does anyone know of an aftermarket kit for the cut out ?

Your Kidding... ... There are 2 vendors who make kits for most transmissions...

Spicer an Munsey... ... . have you looked at both brands of kits to see if one clears the floor with the hatchet job??

There is a PTO prep package that has the hump in the floor pan if the truck is ordered that way. If not, you have to cut a hole and modify the floor pan.

I noticed when playin with Dodge's "build it" site that there is the option for PTO ready. They advertise the transmissions as PTO capable, but don't mention that it's an option.

There is also a relay and other stuff with the option, but I have the G56 and don't know about the hump. I ordered the option and have not installed it yet.

Two approved pumps

Try a 1. Chelsea PTO (parker.com) or a 2. Muncie (munciepower.com) both come with harnesses and plug right in. It is tight for the PTO but these two are the approved and cost is $1,000 or higher. A dual PTO will not fit.
