Hey fellas,
A while back Flow Master sent me one of their 5" Hush Power mufflers to try out and all that was needed from me was an honest opinion. Finally had it installed and right off the bat I could tell a small difference in the giddy up dept. It doesn't drone like my old BD muffler did at certain times under power. At idle its quiet with just a touch of turbo noise. Hit the giddy up pedal and it seems a tad louder, but a better sound. When the welder tech got my old muff off,we stood both on each end to compare internals. The Hush Power is a straight through design,as where the BD muff had a funky cap on one side. When I originally bought the 5"turbo system from BD,it was top rated for flow and paid extra to have it sent to Alaska. Technology in exhaust systems changes as fast as I change my pampers. Would I recommend the Hush Power 11? Give me some more drive time and I'll let you know if interested.
