Are there any solutions out there to keep the Husky Floor mats from Sliding on the Carpet?. These Husky mats Look great!, But they have No "NUBS" on the Back side to grip the carpet preventing them from sliding out of position. (I tried velcro but it didnt work either)
Thanks.
Doug.

Camping supply businesses sell this soft rubbery mesh product used as a liner for the cabinets. It prevents dishes and such from sliding around. I have hot glued it onto the back of carpets to keep them from sliding of vinyl flooring and it works well.

Hey Doug,
Might put some velcro on the back. Just use the side with the teeth and it grabs the carpet and sticks real good.

QTRHRS, Thanks for the advise, I tried it and it seems to work quite well. I tried to Find some Heavy Duty Velcro Like Mike said, But This stupid Town has a Shortage of Real Hardware Stores!. So i went with the Rubbery Mesh stuff i found at Walmart For $6. Its Even black too!. I Hot glued it to the back of the Husky Mats, and now the mats dont move at all!. Thanks again, It was driving me crazy!
Doug.

Costco Huh?... I will have to check them out. What do they look like?
Doug.

I tried velcro and it didn't help much. Then I tried some of the spongy, grippy, rubbery mesh stuff for lining drawers and it works great! I got mine at Home Depot. They have two kinds -- one is the regular stuff you can get at the grocery store. The other is thicker and tougher and available in black (the color of my mats). It's marketed as a "heavy duty" lining for your tool drawers. You can find it with the tools and with the wallpaper (don't ask me why). That's what I got and my mats haven't slipped a bit in several months. Just cut a piece a little smaller than the floor mat and lay it down on the carpet under the mat. Super simple and works great.

PS. It also works great for keeping your throw rugs and door mats from sliding around on the tile floor.

DieselRam -

You must have gotten an older set of Husky Liners. For the last ccouple of years (at least 2 if not 3), their new production has had lots of sharp little nubs on the bottom to keep the mats from moving . . enought that getting them to slide into the correct position can be a real PITA.

Yeah I Bought Them from Pensengers Rv Here in Bakersfield for $40, And they had a Lot of dust on them. They are the Molded Kind that fit really tight down on the floor. But when we go do some trail riding, My Better Half keeps pushing her side way up under the dash!. #ad

Thanks sam for letting me know about that Stubby nub thing, maybe i will get anought ther set, But the Fix worked great!.

I bought my Husky's early this year and although they have the sharp nubs, they still slide a little. That may be from me sitting bach as far as I can. Anyway, I need to follow my own advise if I can ever find that box with the rubber mesh in it. Regardless, the Husky's do a good job catching all the crud I drag into the truck with me.

I have the rubber mopar mats(front & back) they do not move at all. They have the long nubs on the back side. They did come with a 3 piece screw/snap fastener for the driver's mat only. I have not used it but it screws into the carpet and then snaps through a small hole in the mat. If you could find some of those, your problems are solved.

Hmmmm ... . must be a better half thing ... my better half does the same thing in the TJ, so now I have no mats in it, but I do have permanent finger grooves in the dash bar of the cage #ad
