HVAC Blower Motor Noise/Vibration

The blower in my 06' 2500 is making a loud humming noise and vibration when the fan speed is on high. It's bad enough that I can feel the vibration in the steering wheel. Anyone have a clue as to what's going on???

Your recirc door has probably broken and the pivot has fallen into the squirel cage,creating an imbalance on the blower assy.

This has been an ongoing problem since 2003. They have updated the Hvac housing and doors to no avail. (see tsb for 2003)

This should be a safety recall as it could impair the defroster function.

This same issue was a safety recall when I worked for a kenworth dealer.

Same issue, different manufacturer.

Enough already we need a (SAFETY RECALL)

My re-circ door has been busted since august. I've now have 34500 on the odo so gotta go in NOW
