RIP HVAC!

Nowell, you'll will be deeply missed. To Nowell's sister and grandmother, my entire families thoughts and prayers are with you. He was the type of person that everyone would love to have for a best friend. he always tried his best to help me no matter what type of problem i was having. I wish that i had gotten the opprotunity to meet him. RIP Nowell

A Nice guy

I only met Nowel once, at my first RamRunners meeting, just after I bought my 01' one ton. He greeted me like he had known me for years and took the time to answer my novice questions with patience and thoughtfulness. When he showed me the Red Rocket and told me what kind of power he was generating I was astounded, I had no idea diesels could do that.

I will remember him being a warm and thoughtful person.

To his family and all of his close friends in the club, my most heartfelt condolences.

May God bless and watch over you all.

God Bless and our thoughts are with you

I heard about it much before I could go online, today at the shop via a phone call with Joe from Suncoast. We are deeply saddened at the untimely passing of Nowel Thomas. We know that he is now in a better place, and things like this just make you remember to take a minute to look around once in a while, because it's over much too soon. God speed, Nowel.

Our condolences to Nowell's Sister and Grandmother!

I first met HVAC at May Madness in I think 1999, and even though I only would see him once a year he always remembered me... the guy from back east. I was telling the wife about this and can hardly do it being all choked up. We always talked and I always looked forward to seeing him. We have surely lost one of our greatest members here.

I only met him once. He came out to our second meeting when we had just gotten started forming Norcal Diesels. He had brought along an adjustable wastegate controller for show and tell.

I saw him November 25, just a few short weeks ago, in downtown Half Moon Bay with that big red dually. I really wish that I had stopped just to say hello, and not felt that I was too busy. In the future, I will always remind myself that I do have the time, 'cause next time may never come.

He set an example for all of us to follow.

Rest In Peace, Nowell

I wasn't expecting to read this. My wife and I were talking about it on the way home from supper tonight in my bone stock truck, talking about the un-stoppable Nowel. We were hoping it was minor and he would recover 100%. Very sad, someone as motivated and motivational as Nowel taken away so soon.

RIP Nowel... Our thoughts and prayers are with you, your family and many friends.

:{ RIP Nowel ( HVAC)

Beyond condolenses to his apparently small family and those who knew him well, we can take comfort in the short amount of time it took the Lord to take Nowell from when he was stricken. Godspeed.

Met him once at a Sacramento Raceway diesel day. My initial impression was " what a great guy" (and what a bad ass truck!!!). Always informative and patient to the newbie. A great ambassador to the sport.

Very sad news. I pray he is in good hands. I pray his family can be strong in his passing. I could never help myself when I saw a post from him. I knew it would be something good and informative. Knowledge and passion is hard to come by anymore. Its very tough when you loose someone with both. Truly a loss to TDR and his family more so.

Would one of you that knew him and have a picture of Nowell please post it for us that have never met him, but have talked and read his threads, so that we can put a face on a great guy that gave so much of himself for our benefit... . God speed Nowell.

My thoughts and sympathy go out to the entire family Nowel left behind.

This includes his blood kin and his diesel fueled kindred.

Terrible news

He was the first person I met from TDR.

I went to see him race the Red rocket at sears point. (shortly after I joined TDR) I was shocked to see a diesel P/U go so fast! A great guy.

My condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace Nowel.
