:( I never had the honor to talk to Nowel & never met him before, but I have read his post on this site & others over the last couple of years. I always read his post because he always seemed to be helping out someone with unusual problems with their trucks. There are not to many people that are blessed with these gifts & gave so freely of this knowledge with so many. I feel as though I too have lost a friend. God speed Nowel. My prayers & thoughts go out to you and your family, God Bless.

Always had a great time BS'in with Nowel and sometimes it did get a little deep;) right down to hanging rocker panels on the Red Rocket in the parking lot of the RV camp ground by head lights, this of course following the installation of a few margarita's so as to make sure they would be straight:)

Nowel I know you've racin in a much better place!

My sincere condolences to his family and friends in this time of great loss.

You'll certainly be missed.

Nowel's Picture

Some poeple have asked on here as well as by e-mail for a few pictures of Nowel. I have many from the many events we have attended and although Nowel did not particularly like his picture taken here are some I managed to snap of him.

I did not now him personally, but he was a valuable addition to the diesel community.

I am so deeply saddened by this. I'm lost for words.

May he rest in peace, my thoughts are with him.

Our condolences to Nowel's family and freinds.

It amazes me how we sit in front of these keyboards and can read, type and share posts with folks who we may never meet, and yet we can feel like we know them as if they live next door.

Nowel was one of the guys that made me feel welcome here when I first joined. It is very apparent that a very large group of folks from all walks of life will greatly miss this man or a chance to meet him in person. However, I'm sure that the memories of HVAC and "The Red Rocket" will live on for a long time to come.

God Speed Nowel,

He was one of the biggest single factors for bringing the 2nd gen's where they are today. I couldn't wait until his caliber made it to the 3rd gen.

More importantly, he was a great person. I pray this was a reflection of his lord, and he walks with him today.

When I first joined the TDR, HVAC was a very involved poster. I learned a lot from his posts. The TDR too has lost a great one.

Best wishes to family an freinds.

When ever i saw a post from HVAC i would always read it carefully. Had alot of respect for those four letters b/c i never met HVAC.

GOOD BYE MY CUMMINS BROTHER. YOU WILL BE MISSED ON THIS BOARD I KNOW:(

Not much I can add to all of the above.

I'm sure your presence will be felt here for long time to come.

Each time someone does a search and your post comes up, it will be a time to remember and reflect on your contribution to us all.

Nowel's posts are what started me on the road to bombing my truck. I first met him when I was a novice and he installed my injectors at a vista point near Half Moon Bay. Since then I've bought a few toys from him and he's always provided me good advice when I've had problems.

He will be missed.

P. S. Mike, Isn't that the MechTech Motorsports dyno in Escondido? I dynoed there once...

I am too new to have crossed paths, electronic or otherwise, with Nowel, but from the responses on the boards, I can tell the TDR has lost one of the "Good Ones". I wish I could have met this man who gave so much of himself to newbies like me. Rest in peace, Nowel.

I am a little late to this thread, but I feel the same way all that have posted before me do. It speaks wonders to his character and the impact he made that so many have responded to this thread with stories of how he helped or otherwise encouraged them to get to where they wanted to be.

Rest in Peace, sir.

My sincerest condolences to your family and close friends.
