Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) HX 35 from 97 12v

As some of you know I recently bought the wife an '02 2500 Quad Sport Auto. And as I am planning the simple BOMBs to go into the truck, one that is definetly going to happen is a new turbo. Now, as I am also trying to finish bombing my '97 3500. So when I install my B-1 to the 12v can I simply take the HX35 and bolt it on to the 24v?
