hx35/40 hybrid h1c

back to the turbo thing again, i was wondering why i couldn't use my h1c and my buddies old turbine housing off of a 01 H. O. and find a new compressor wheel and housing(perferably bigger than stock)? i have heard that the hx and h1 shares the same cartridge, shaft, and turbine wheel. who would sell the parts reasonable. it has to be for an H. O. i think because this one has the wastegate canister mounted on the compressor housing and all other hx35's i think are just on the turbine housing alone.

Call htt or city diesel. They have the parts u need. The last hybrid h1c I built was 240$ for the 40 wheel and housing. Also, the 35/40 really shines with a 14cm wg housing. (and I have one if you're interested... )

why not with a 12cm houing??

The 14 probably flows better... while still being somewhat "small". But don't ask me... I've got a 21cm!!

depends on your needs a 12cm would spool better, but if you tow or have big injectors a 14cm would help keep the egts down.

The 14 works great with the 60mm wheel because it does flow a little more than the 12, the extra lag isn't noticeable, and its still waste gated (unlike anything larger). It also helped reduce surging on my 98 a bunch below ~1600 rpm.
