It seems to me that the best setup would be to use the 14 cm wastegated housing this would give quicker spooling than the 16 cm housing and control pressure for EGT control at the top end. Please correct me if I am wrong, as I keep hearing that the 16cm non wastegated housing is the best.

I love my PDR HX35/14. Piers said it would be a little better than the stock 35/12 and it's true. I didn't like the 35/16 (more power but too much lag and smoke) but didn't try the 16 with the PDR35. Craig

PDR HX35-16

With the PDR HX35-16 I have made 437 HP on a Dynojet:D Egt's are very manageable while towing. I think it's a great turbo, probably the next best thing to an HX40 at a little more than 1/2 the cost. The other benifit is that you can still use a turbo mount exhaust brake with it.

I have the PDR 35 with the 16cm housing. The more I drive with this turbo the more I like it. Don't be afraid, this turbo spools better with the 16cm housing than the stock turbo with the 12cm housing did.

My 16 cm housing should be here this week! I have heard from a few people that with a little 'adjustment' the lag is all but gone. Maybe a little more fuel on the low end. . do someone say 370's... We shall see...
