hate to say it, but the v-band connection on the wastegated turbine housings is about an inch rearward of where it is on the non-gated housings...
I think the HY35 would be a great turbo for that engine... much more responsive. I don't know where the turbo is mounted on the manifold, but would flipping the manifold gain you any more clearance? just an idea.
