hy35 vs h1c

in my 4bt conversion i have a stock 16cm turbo (i think).



the exhaust pipe is CLOSE to the firewall. is wither a h1c or hy35 diminsionally the came as mine? or i guess i should ask is will either one make the exhaust pipe farther into my firewall?

the hx was stuck in the tirle. i was wondering ... . nevermind. i dont know what the heck im thinking. ill try and find a hy35 and see if i can fit it. i want faster spool on my cpl 858 4bt
 
hate to say it, but the v-band connection on the wastegated turbine housings is about an inch rearward of where it is on the non-gated housings...



I think the HY35 would be a great turbo for that engine... much more responsive. I don't know where the turbo is mounted on the manifold, but would flipping the manifold gain you any more clearance? just an idea.

heck, i fabbed the thing up, ill give it a shot.



ok, then what do i have to have? do i just need a hy-35 outer housing? or a complete set up??? is the "shell" all that changes??? i have no idea
