Would someone be kind enough to tell me what the charged cylinder is called on the hydro boost unit. Where does you get one????? I have no/very hard brakes when engine is off.

That charged cylinder is called an "accumlator". Here is a pic of it Hydratech Braking Systems Forums That accumulaor can have 1700 psi so it would be dangerous to mess with. read this link: Hydratech Braking Systems Forums



I don't believe you can replace just the accumulator. You are probably in need of a new hydroboost unit. I got mine here: Hydratech Braking Systems - manufacturers of high performance hydraulic brake assist systems!  HydratechBraking.com / Hydroboost.com.



Been working fine for a few years now.
