Is there anyone or anyplace that rebuilds them? I had to replace mine with a new unit becuse the old one was leaking out the front seal. Id like to get the old one fixed to keep as a spare. Thanks.

Talk to the guys at Hydratech braking systems @586-427-6970,or e-mail -- email address removed -- or visit their web site @ www.hydroboost.com . I have had them rebuild several units for me on 98-02 Dodge trucks and have no problems with them.

Where I work has a comercial account with one of the local dealers so we get a pretty big discount. List on it was $384,but the old part number,5093406aa, now supercedes to a revised part # 5179891aa and lists for 395. You also have to get the mastercylinder, nuts and bracket with the new one. Quite easy to change. The last issue of TDR was a great help. Whats your MOS? I was a 0661 From 94 to 02.

My hydro boost exploded

Luckily yours is just leaking. Mine exploded just as my wife was trying to stop for a red light with my two kids in the back. Thank God He was looking after her that day. They narrowly avoided causing a catastrophic accident as they went sailing through a crowded intersection. I don't know what caused mine to fail but I wouldn't wait to long before getting it fixed.
