Inline Fuel Pressure Gauge Adapter - Any Reason This Won't Work?

Boost Gauge Install...

I really like the looks of the Hyperpac. I asked about it a while ago but no one had any comments about it. Would I be correct in assuming that these 3 programs (well at least 2 of them) advance timing? If so then it probably wouldnt be a good idea with my comp.

I am thinking of changing over to TST anyway to try out some new things. What about the Mad ECM? MMMmmm TST, Hyperpac and Mad ECM combo (special of course). Will it all work and what do you think? Anyone have the Hyperpac yet that can offer some insight to it?

Also who has the best price? All the places I have looked have the same price but some say they will beat anyone's price. Any TDR members selling these? PM me

Looks like bold claims + smoke and mirrors.

". . including the most powerful 50 state legal Power Tuning. . " Any box that tunes power does so at the expense of emissions - thus how can it be 50 state legal? Easy - this box does nothing for power.

"The Tuning program also allows adjustments to:

The RPM rev limiter.

The transmission's shift points and shift firmness.

The electric cooling fan on/off temperatures (for cooler thermostats.

The speedometer and odometer to correct (as required by Federal Law) for non-stock tire sizes and/or gear ratios.

The vehicle's top speed limiter to match the speed rating of high performance tires. "

How do any of these affect "performance"? These are all PCM things - the ECM is what controls timing and fueling, thus no affect on performance. And what's with Federal Law and tire sizes? Didn't know I was committing a Federal offence by putting 315's on.

"And for all trucks, Hypertech power tuning is developed for the maximum towing weights allowed by the manufacturer. " What in the heck does this mean?

Maybe this is a good product - big maybe. But not for $800 IMO.

I don't think diesel emissions is hard to pass anywhere, many have left their boxes on and had no troubles with passing the test. I think the states are just getting their money.

The limiter and tire size stuff isnt part of the performance tuning, just other options it can change.

If you change tire size you are legally supposed to have your odometer calibrated for the new tires, otherwise your odometer is not showing the actual mileage of the vehicle which is illegal.

I'm sure the 3 power tuning programs are about the same as the Bullydog downloader or others of the type. I don't think its to hard to believe those claims, its nothing more than anyone else has claimed.

Agreed - but passing a opacity test and claiming they are increasing performance and remaining CARB compliant in all 50 states are two different things, and their claim of CARB compliance seems like a stretch. Even DC can't sell a non California truck in California, and doesn't want to sell Cali trucks to the rest of the US. So guess these guys found the secret sauce if their claim is to be believed.

The manufacturers website says it can't do even these things on a CTD - gasser only. Maybe all the N/As are a typo on their part.

Others making similar claims have been criticized for making such claims.

Buy it and tell us how it works.

Good points... resetting codes and a decently accurate dyno for my own playing is decently cool. Wish I new who actually used it and voted on it at the sema show.

Haha, check the last line of my sig :p
