OK, I'll bite. What did it do for your truck? What are your impressions? Any dyno numbers or stats? How much did it cost? What year truck do you have? You know, where's the beef?

No Dyno numbers yet. Going to dyno it after i get the injectors in this week. Will switch it on and off on the dyno to see the results.

Truck is in the sig :)

Hypertech Or Superchip?

I bought a Superchip Programer, Is the Hypertech the same one or are two different programs out there now?

IS this a diesel or gas engine programer? I could find it on their site

Is this the gizmo that allows you to change a variety of settings thru the diognostics port under the dash???

I went to their website but could not find enough info to satisfy my curiosity.

Just a little FYI- recently someone tried the programmers with injectors and found that they run really hot when ran together. The timing boxes faired much better with injectors.

Hot? Yes

I tryies the superchip programer on the middle Performance Towing setting. I am also running factory RV275 injectors, the programing was simple, and the pwoer was up, not as much as the comp on 1x3 or 1x5 by a long ways. Yes the truck was running hotter on the pulls by 200-300 degrees, I drill the hole for the Scotty II and temperatures drop back a bunch. I like to try the perfomance not towing setting, but i believe it will be to strong for the Automatic transmission.
