hi, i was driving back from sc. yesterday, a green dodge had snaped a u -joint. and scraped the pavement real good for 200-400 feet ,there looked like a lot of damage to the truck. the driver did a good job of controling the truck off the road. the year of the truck was hard to tell 98-03? also i saw a chevy truck towing 20-25 foot camper on a steep grade in va , i-81. he lost control some how, no pac brack? the trailer came around and folded it self on the truck and into the fence. blocked both lanes. the guy was ok. this looked like some kind of brake failed : i wonder if this was a stock u-joint on the green dodge. ON MY TRUCK [ANEW 06 3200MILES. ]THERE IS A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL ON THE BELL HOUSING. IS THIS NORMAL FOR A NEW DIESEL. IWAS HOPING FOR 20-30K BEFOR LEAKS START? just your idea,s thanks kenny

Check the torque on the rear oil pan bolts. Mine was doing the same thing until I re-torqued them. 21 ft. lbs
