Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) i.a.t sensor where is it?

i have read that you shoul clean it and was told it is on the drivers side by the intake is it the one right above the lift pump or is it more towards the front could someone please let me know thanks

the IAT sensor is at the rear of the head, over the lift pump. The MAP sensor is located right above the fuel filter housing.

Just a note, the drawing is for a 2000 and later ISB engine.



The only difference in the 98. 5 and 99's are the fuel pressure test port item #6 and 21, these are located on the fuel filter houseing, 1/8 NPT.
