met one of my buddys friends today. he has a 03 2500 quad cab with a 3 inch lift with 35x13. 5's. says his truck has over 600 REAR WHEEL HORSE POWER!! i said to my self BS!! so i ask him what he's got making that 600 RWHP? he says everything besides nitrous and propane! ok... so i pry a little deeper. he say's he's got 3 turbo's made into one and stacked 3 chips which are costom programmed by Ted Janette himself! then i ask about the auto transmission. he claims it's a complete aftermarket but won't say which one! then he claims it will stomp a brand new C5 corvette and does a 12. 5 quarter mile! if i had the time i would have raced him! probally would have ate him alive!! btw, HE WOULDN'T POP THE HOOD! what a joke!!!!! :-laf ..... james

Met a guy with an 02 DiaperMax at the track a few weeks ago. All he had was a Edge J/A and with 35's it made about 550 RWP and about 800ft lbs. He couldnt get the truck to hook as it would smoke all 4 tires until about 90mph. If he could get it to hook, he could run a mid 12 easily...



I asked him the the J/A was just timing/duration for the DiaperMax's or if it did pressure too, he didnt know. He just shrugged. I asked him how he knew the numbers of the truck, he said his friend made the engine run like it should and then put the 200hp chip in it.



Some people just need to keep their mouth closed. I would have thought the guy was alot cooler if he said, "I dont know anything about the truck, this "chip" or the engine besides the fact is that its mine and when it breaks... someone else will fix it for me. " Rather then feed me a load of garbage and expect me to believe it.

I was at the feed store last week and a red 04 Dodge dully pulls in. Has flames on the hood,fenders,doors(did look sharpe)and had been shot with clear(whole truck). Went over said hello(I was in my 1500 Dodge) any way he went on to tell me it would run 115 mph and smoke all SIX tires. I sad humm. Her said LOOK at what i've done. He proudly went and opened the hood. There was a dust covered motor and he said SEE. There was a K&N exposed air filter(like my AFE) and said AND?? Well that was IT. Well a somewhat crudely welded on aftermarket muffler. He said that air filter set up just WOKE it UP and added TONS of torque and H. P. I did LIKE the paint deal tho. Looked GOOD.
