Why Does The Right Tire Spin With Open Rear?

What is my truck worth? Possibly selling

i bought a powerstroke tonight im picking it up tuesday its a 95 F350 4x4 srw its got 165k on the clock i know its not a cummins but its the next best thing

its black with a utility box on it i got a headache rack and a aluminum diamond plate crossover toolbox for when i get a bed for it in the deal too

the motor has 65k on it at the most and is a international remanufactured motor i had my friends dad that is a diesel mechanic for a living check it out and he said that it looks great

WELL IF ITS BEEN REMANUFACTERED BY international than thats a whole different story. when ford gets their hands on that motor its reliability rating goes down the toilet. good luck and congratulations on your new rig. when you get it make sure you give it the go over. change oil, change transmission fluid,change fluid in both diffs and also transfer case. oh yea fuel filters also. some powerstrokes come with a primary and secondary fuel filters. my 99 did

only the superdutys have 2 the origional pstrokes dont and yes it it a international reman motor the dealer im buying it from does mostly diesels he is changing the oil and fuel filter before it gets in my hands i cant wait till tuesday

Oh my goodness... haven't we taught you anything? :confused: :-laf

i dont think the 95 powerstroke was very good not to burst your bubble. but when that engine craps out which i hope it does not swap in a 12v :)

he is some mechanic he has been working on diesels big and small for about 30 years he has seen em all and worked on them all so i think he knows his **** hes been in the diesel game for quite some time now :-{}

I'm not trying to pile on here but.....

We had 2 where I work. Both seemed to have the same problems:

1) Ate up starters pretty quick

2) Alternators didn't last long either

3) Clutch and Trans problems. Both were 5spd (Not sure this applies to you)

I guess 2 trucks are not a significant test group but they both had recurring problems of a similar nature. We finally gave up on them when they got around 230k miles.

Congrats on the truck, I hope you have better luck than we did.

Well what do you expect DBogo? You're a member on a Dodge/Cummins site for 6 months and then you go off and buy a powerjoke. A certain amount of heckling should be expected and frankly, is deserved! :D
