Until I had my Fluidampr installed!



Holy Cow! My truck now idles as quiet as stock 95% of the time.



Additionally, when in gear and driving, the transmission is much more quiet. Sometimes in 5th the transmission would be really loud when under a load. The volume has been cut by at least 50%. The idle seems smoother, too. Overall I think it's a great addition to my truck. Judging by the lack of noise, I'm betting it's a whole lot better for the transmission.



I'd recommend it to anyone with a dual disc.

I'll have to break down and put mine on. It's been under my back seat for about a month. If I ever get in the shop to put the twins on I'll install it then. I hope the fluidamper helps as much as you guys say it does. The DD sure is noisy, but its cool when you push in the clutch and everybody turns and looks.

Mine was resting under the back seat as well since a day after I received it (group buy). I never made the time to put it in, and finally had the shop do it today while doing my U-joints. I should have done it sooner.



It's still loud while you push in the clutch, but the rattle transferred to the transmission by the direct drive clutch discs (with the clutch out) is greatly diminished.

I installed mine on monday. It is amazing the difference from the stock dampener. If you run a DD clutch this mod is definitely worth every penny!

I really wish you guys would stop with the Fluidampr crap. I told myself that I wasn't going to buy anthing more this "money pit" for awhile. However your twisting my arm. My checkbook hates the TDR.

I finally installed my fluidamper today. Took about 30 min tops. I should have put it on the day I got it. Worth every penny. My transmission made noise under load in every gear before the fluidamper, now it only make a slight noise in 5th but thats the only gear. Truck seems to idel a lot smoother, but that maybe because of the noise reduction. Its amazing how something on one end of the shaft can have so much affect on something on the other end of the shaft. If your getting a DD clutch you should install a fluidamper at the same time.
