I done good with the girlfriend!

Bought my girlfriend a $125 gift certificate for a high end Aveda spa and salon for Christmas. This place is in Evergreen on Upper Bear Creek and is a nice place, looks like a house, not too attention grabbing, but knew of it from landscaping up that road on many jobs.



So, last weekend she spent part of it on a manicure and she was very pleased. Then she comes out when it was time to go and said, "Nick, this spa is ranked 3rd in the nation. "



Cool She is going to spend the rest on a massage. I am not a good masseur (sp)!

The only problem is now she will want to go there all the time. SPA's are like crack, once they start they never stop... .

I look at it this way Nick, when you want a new bomb for the truck and you know you'll get your rear chewed for it (of course you already bought it so hey, what the heck ) Then get the Gift Certificate to her the day before the parts arrive. It always works for me!

I will try that Jeff! She doesn't care what I do to the truck, or how much I spend, as long as she has some say in it. She wants me to get nice wheels and tires, which I need anyway, then maybe a leveling kit, air horns, running board lights, and of course all the big stuff, injectors, turbo, clutch, the list goes on. So I may be alright as long as I do the stuff she wants first, and use the gift cards for later

Dang man if she is cool with you doing all the stuff you mentioned you better put a ring on that finger. Of course get a pre-nup that says she has to REMAIN cool about the truck stuff after the big day.
