I have a Congo African Grey parrot that will eat with my house cat when I place both of their favorite treats in a saucer on the floor. The cat no longer wants to pick on the Grey after he got his ear pierced

When I say "call the cat" Mango will whistle for the cat or Mango go will just say "come here Rascal". When he hears the refrigerator door open he says "Grape" When he hears the microwave he says "pop-corn". He whistles the tune to War Eagle when I say War Eagle. Every time I get finished with any meal Mango burps. When we pick up our car keys he says Bye-Bye. He loves ice cream the best. Chicken 2nd best. A grey is the smartest bird around, but they usually bond with just one person, meaning everybody else is an enemy. Mango just barely tolerates me. He tries to feed my wife. No kidding.
