I'm assuming this post means:

"Yes, can anyone try to tell me why there is not that much power when I first try to get going, only to feel a lot of power when it comes on? I put a new inline pump in, and it's still behaving this way"

Answer: Turbo lag. The engine can't burn much fuel (and won't inject much) until the turbo is making boost. Fuel= power, so with less fuel burning, you have less power.

Trivia: Minnesota ranks #7 among the states in education-- believe it, or not.

Hohn, thanks for the interpretation.

I would look for minor boost leaks or low fuel pressure. The most common are at the AC line sensor or the fender rub on flex hoses.
