I feel a wreck comming on

I am the assistant chief of our fire dept and we have been getting called out about once a week on car wrecks, we have been doing lots of extrication and have had alot of deaths the summer but we have also had some make it too. It is a shame

Have to go to a friends funeral tomorrow. He was only 18, and on his way to work.



The way I heard it a truck (regular not BIG RIG) came across the line and hit them head on (he was riding with a friend).



He was ejected, life-flighted to Vanderbuilt in Nashville but they couldn't stop his brain from swelling and I think he also had internal bleeding.



We hadn't been real close lately (we used to ride the same bus 4 years ago and go to local wrestling every Sat. ) but I hadn't seen him in a couple of months. Man I'm gonna miss him. :{ :{ :{ :{ :{

this was very wierd, I bet I didnt have this post pecked out for 10 minutes and we got paged for a 10-50 (wreck) , seams 4 native Americans got smoked up on the res and stole a truck , decided to go for a joy ride , they got to our town and got pulled over for a minor traffic violation , the cop gets the guy back in the car to issue the citation and a 14 yr old girl scoots over behind the wheel and hauls hinney , also in the truck are a 6 yr old and another at 16, the are givin it the onion and the cop throws the guy in the back with handcuffs and chases them. they are haulin it at 90 to 100 mph reported and they enter the mouth of the wind river canyon, its a windy road , well shur as crap there was a rock in the highway about the size of a tire , they hit it at 90 , take the front end totally out and in the ditch to a safe stop, both air bags blew and all were ok other than minor intussions , the 14 yr old driver blew a 1. 8 on the achahol meter , they hauled them all away .

The truck was a 99 ram 2500 V-10 unit and it is totaled, I would have liked it if it were a Cummins, cheap buy on a good motor _ a oil pan I'm sure, oh the truck was still in gear (auto) and still running too... ... ... ... ... ..... Kevin
