I did some checking and counting on the way to work yesterday. It is only 8. 3 miles from home to work, but in those few miles I go through 29 stopsigns or stoplights :--) I just get 'er wound up then have to shut 'er down again. :{

I'm with you brother longer runs do generate better milage but other factors are to be concidered, whether you're sporting a topper or bigger tires, winter conditions,summer I have kept track of my milage since new in 95 on my 2500 L/B LWB ext cab and it has ranged from 21mpg new to 19. 3 during summer but in the winter I go down to 15. 7 this drop in mpg is also influenced by my warm up timeTim said:I drive 80 miles to work.
